Cookie Policy

Last updated: 6 October 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Dialed ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on usedialed.io. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites remember your session, keep you signed in, and understand how the product is used. Similar technologies include local storage entries used to record your cookie preferences.

How we use cookies

We group cookies into three categories:

Essential cookies (always active)

These cookies are strictly necessary to operate Dialed. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. They do not require consent under ePrivacy rules because the Service cannot function without them.

  • Authentication: httpOnly session cookies managed by Supabase Auth to keep you signed in securely.
  • Security: tokens and CSRF-related storage that protect your account from unauthorised requests.
  • Load balancing: infrastructure cookies from our hosting provider (Vercel) to deliver the application reliably.

Analytics cookies (optional — PostHog)

With your consent, we use PostHog to understand how users navigate Dialed, which features are used, and where we can improve the product. PostHog may set cookies or use local storage to assign a pseudonymous identifier. Analytics data is used for product improvement, not for advertising or selling your data to third parties.

Analytics cookies are not loaded unless you choose "Accept all" in our cookie banner or switch on "Analytics" in its cookie settings.

Advertising cookies (optional — Meta Pixel)

With your consent, we use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure whether our ads on Instagram and Facebook lead to visits, sign-ups and purchases, and to show our ads to people more likely to find Dialed useful. The Meta Pixel sets the _fbp and _fbc cookies. When you sign up or pay, we also send Meta the event server-side with your email address and account ID hashed (SHA-256), your IP address and browser user agent. We do not send call recordings, transcripts or coaching content.

Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. acts as a joint controller with us for the collection and transmission of this data. Like analytics, advertising cookies are not loaded and no server events are sent unless you choose "Accept all" or switch on "Advertising" in the cookie settings.

Cookie banner and your choices

When you first visit Dialed, a banner at the bottom of the screen offers:

  • Accept all — essential cookies plus PostHog analytics and Meta advertising cookies.
  • Cookie settings (the gear icon) — choose individually whether to allow analytics and advertising cookies. Both are off until you switch them on. Saving with both off uses only the necessary cookies for auth and security.

Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the key dialed-cookie-consent with a value of essential, analytics, marketing or all. The banner will not reappear unless you clear site data or use a new browser/device.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing cookies and local storage for usedialed.io in your browser settings, then revisiting the site to set a new preference. You can also use browser controls to block third-party cookies globally, though this may affect site functionality.

Third-party cookies

PostHog and Meta may process data on servers outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards as described in our Privacy Policy. Meta processes data it receives under its own Privacy Policy.
